Either...

Build a track ready N/A. I already have a spec sheet of what I am planning to do.

Or..

Buy a turbo motor and convert it. I got quoted by mrmr2 3.5k for a full conversion including inter cooler, ect, alternator (100% bolt in).

Would it be cheaper to buy a halfcut/wreck because I plan to build it, to hold 280kw but only run 220-240. (Smaller turbo, quick spool, big reliable hit).

So many decisions, but my ideal plan is to track it but have it registered.

I'm worried if I build the engine it'll disappoint me. I've got a S14 Det so I'm used to boost, and worried if I spend all the money to go all out on an engine I'll be disappointed.

I'll probably end up spending the same on both, if I keep n/a I'll be using a E153 and turbo hubs and such.

Either run with n/a's guys or try bigger.

What do you guys think?

Can't afford as of yet, when the 14's sold I'll be buying parts, so just planning for the future.

Hey Phiz, I am selling that SW20 Turbo that Carmikey linked. Happy to negotiate a price for the whole thing once your ready. I don't think it's going anywhere too fast.

What spec are you preparing your car?
Cage/seat/harness/light weight or still a road going car with tweeks?
When building the NA, you wil not need a E153. Thats overkill unless you go V6.
Good to see another car is being prepared.
