Couldn't work out how to upload photos so if you want to see the car ^^^^^

Up for sale is my 96 SW20 Bathurst Edition MR2 with 3SGTE Conversion. I have owned the car for about 2 years now and it hasn't let me down once. The reason I am selling is that I now have a company car so as much as I will miss this car I plan on selling it and buying a motorbike for the weekends.

The Chassis has 230,000k's on it and the engine has about 200,000. It has always been serviced, the previous owner was an ex Toyota mechanic who always serviced the car on schedule and also did the engine conversion to a high standard. Once I took ownership of the car I also serviced it myself.

Besides the engine conversion which is a 3rd Gen 3sgte with no modifications besides a ceramic coated stainless dump pipe and full mandrel bent exhaust system. The exhaust was originally a Blitz Nur spec system which I found too loud so had it re-made with a hi-flow cat and magna flow mufler, the tip is polished stainless steel and the rest of the system is ceramic coated black at the back part and painted black with heat proof paint at the front part so it doesn't attract any unwanted attention. I have a K&N panel filter fitted which can be taken out and cleaned with a cleaning kit which I will provide with the car.

The suspension has been replaced with yellowspeed coilovers about 6 months ago, it has aftermarket front and rear sway bars which were fitted to the car when I bought it so I'm not sure on the brand but they do work very well. Front tyres are about 70% and rears would be 100% as I have just replaced them. The car had a suspension check at pedders about 5 months ago and all the suspension bushes were fine. Other than a few other minor bit's and pieces the car has been left standard.

Now for the bad part, the synchro has worn between 4th to 3rd gear so when downshifting it catches slightly. The car is fine to drive though as long as you take it easy downshifting from 4th gear. However I do plan on getting this fixed in a few of weeks or so. I would be looking for about $11,000 as is or once the gearbox is fixed around $12,500.

The car is great to drive now with the roof off coming into the summer months. I also have a shed full of spare parts including the original suspension, targa roof rubbers and targa glass which can be included with some negotiation.

I can't always answer the phone during business hours so if send me a text I can back to you when I am able to talk.
