Greetings, what is this F-con that you speak of? if you are making 100kw at the wheels i want one, as i am making 100kw at the wheels on 12psi.

anyone have suggestions on an aftermarket ECU? as i think with one i can make at least 110-120kw at the wheels :>

p.s ur car looks great. same colour as mine, but ur paint is much nicer.

This is straight from the US HKS sight...

The HKS PFC F-CON is a plug-in fuel management system designed to supplement and refine the OEM fuel curve to maintain a proper air/fuel mixture when increasing boost pressure in turbocharged applications. The PFC F-CON optimizes the factory injector pulse width signal by recalibrating information obtained by both the PFC F-CON absolute pressure sensor and the OEM engine control unit (ECU). Each unit is application specific and includes a preprogrammed ROM for a particular performance stage. --- A Fuel Cut Defencer (FCD) is also included in certain PFC F-CON kits to override the factory fuel cutoff. The PFC F-CON offers easy integration via a plug-in vehicle specific wiring harness and a compact pressure sensor. If additional adjustment of the PFC F-CON is needed, fine-tuning can be performed via the plug-in HKS Graphic Control Computer (GCC).

This and a cat-back HKS exhaust are the only performance mods on my car, and tuned on 95ron fuel at the moment. They are not for sale new anymore, but I have seen them for sale a few times. However, I'm sure there are newer, more adjustable options these days which would be easier to get hold of and get tuned.

Thanks for the comments - the bodywork paint is great, and interior is pretty good also. Not really happy with the black paint on the window trims etc, but one day.. one day..

I recently scored a HKS F-con but had to let it go because apparently the only place that I could get it installed was Sydney.[8~2]

Further report on the brake pads - simply awesome! I've not tried others so can not really compare but great bang for buck ($US 150 + postage for front and rear)

Anyone driving with stock bushes - do yourself a favour and get a full bushes kit and you will be pleasantly surprised at how much difference it will make.

Twosrus - A++ for service

Yes that's right I am moving my car to Adelaide this weekend, and I will be following it sometime later in the year. It will be locked away in the garage until I get there (except for my frequent visits if I have time to take it out)

I'm sure it will miss the winding roads of Tassie, and the infrequent but excellent days of cruising with other MR2's on the apple isle.

It won't take me long to find others in SA to cruise with.....

Or excellent roads, the Lobethal - Corkscrew - Montacute loop was one of my Favs when I live there

Shame Melbourne has no equivalent.

Yep, they're Enkei 'Racing' wheels - same as mine. You also seem to have the same muffler etc I have. I've been told that it is an HKS set-up, but mine is matched to a set of Cusco extractors. Very pretty (in a masculine sort of way!!). Enjoy!!
