I made some comments on your other thread about this car - i'd suggest you establish where this car is from, if you now legally own it, if it has ever been registered in Australia and if you'll be able to register it at all before you spend any more money on it. Those compliance and VIN plates are not from this chassis. I could be wrong, but I don't think so on this one.
yep, have responded, im working on figuring out it history, I legally bought it off the previous owner, who legally bought it off of the owner before them, however the history beyond that point (many years back at this stage) is unknown, its been registered in SA for many years up until about 4 months back when the previous owner let the rego lapse due to having another car and forgetting about it (that kind of girl), and thats a good point, i will look into whether its rego-able in nsw before spending anything on it (all ive done so far is diagnose issues, strip off body panels for dent repair and start to decrease the engine)
also I know this is from the other thread, but how could you tell the plates were from a T-top?, because everything else is technically feasible in part swapping and re-spraying
