Which 11" Spal fans are suitable for the engine lid shroud, pull or push?
Any cheaper local alternatives such as a craig davies?

They Spals aren't sold as push or pull, you attach the polarity to push or pull. Can't answer the Davies question.

Spal do do push/pull fans, they are different parts.  Davies Craig you just reverse the blades.  Regarding the fans, the shrouds are designed specifically for the spal 11" as these were the rage in the day.  So the bolt holes, hole diameter and little cut out for the wiring harness all suit the spal fan.  You can probably fit a davies craig but it wouldn't be as cosmetically pleasing I don't think.  We can look at a Spal GB of some sorts I guess?

You're right, "Please Note: The radiator fan blades are non symmetrical and are optimised for one direction only, therefore each size is available in both a Push and Pull configuration"
 
The brand fan I bought from the USA was reversible.  Thought i'd be looking for left handed screw drivers with dedicated push or pull fans... 

So guys I trying to strike a deal with a USA supplier for 11" spal fans for the engine lid
It's looks like $280 for 2 low profile 11" spal push fans that is landed in Brisbane freight from here to other states in Australia should be around $20...who would be interested the fan i will be offering is, (# 30100365-SPAL )

so bassed on no replies I take it no 1 is interested in 11" spal fans @ $280 a pair... please note these sell up to $200each in Australia  

I've found that Xtreme Auto Parts in the ACT do a pair of 11" Spal straight Push fans for $241+GST or the Skew version for $250+GST. But Im sure Dylan at Gorilla Ind. can do an equally good deal for us and its always good to support one of our own anyway.

Guys, I think the fan Deco posted is too thick.  Definitely need the low profile fan..

I didn't check that with decos link....the 1s I can get are Low profile same as I already have in my engine lid
