Hi All,
It's getting colder which is great for the cars and no better place to celebrate the winter climate than the Blue Mountains. The MR2 Club is heading west to check out the Bells Line of Road through Bilpin and then off to the Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens for lunch. On the way back from lunch members are encouraged to check out the Bilpin Cider Co as they have a great range of Cider's and offer tastings at the cellar door. Given that it is winter it's likely that the road may be damp and caution is advised as it is with every drive.
Bells Line of Road took its name from Archibald Bell Junior, the explorer who at the age of just nineteen years crossed what was to become one of the most scenic routes across the Blue Mountains. The Bells Line of Road makes its way through beautiful fertile farmland and offers a blend of pretty bush land scenery and sandstone cliffs.

The club is entirely run by volunteers. Membership fees help the club cover CAMS "Sporting Car Club" affiliation and insurance as well as website maintenance. If you haven't renewed and you rely on membership for CAMS eligibility your license may be at risk of not being honored at race events. The fees are used by the club entirely for the benefit of the members.
We hope to see you there!
