Hi ,
My current front wheels 17x 8 are too far out due to the 35 offset and am about to replace the 2nd wheel bearing. I am struggling to find matching staggered sets in the offset I want. I am considering getting some Speedy wheels 17x7.5 and 18x8.5 for the rear. Speedy have the same series/styles through diameter changes, which many others don't, but also come in several offsets !!
I don't know if Speedy wheels have a good reputation for quality, strength, weight, etc. Nor do I have any appreciation for whether different size wheels look good, ridiculous or ??  Does anyone have experience with Speedy or with different diameter wheels.... ?
thanks

Speedy are a rather cheep wheel. What's your budget?

Yes they are cheap. The tyre shops sell them for $1k, presumably you also buy tyres as well
Are you saying the Speedy's are weak / crack / bend/  flex ?

Also I now see ROH do similar sizes and prices.

For 1-1.5k you can buy better quality second hand set of Japanese wheels. Just my suggestion.

I went with Simmons FR-1 wheels. 17 x 7 ET 38 front and 17 x 8.5 ET 36 rear. You can get any offset you want made by them. 17 x 7 suits a 215 tyre fine. The wheels are robust, but not light, at about 9 kg each. They are about $325 a wheel for the colours in stock, or you can get them repainted by Tempe Tyres for about $75 to $100 each. The 18 x 8.5 would also be available. Lock nuts (the others 19 mm diameter) and hub centric rings are included.

Cheers,
Martin

Thanks Martin, Sw20TT,
 I think I'll go some ROH's 17x7 ET40 and some 18 x 8 ET45.
