Starting a thread for this 1999 bathurst as its had a long story behind it.. nevertheless, parted out & now one of my track cars.
This is now one of the sw20's I'm bringing over to WP challenge in Jan 2017 ;-)

Below is the car at WP challenge Jan 2017..

Parked next to my other black track car, both ran beautiful for the entire event!

Back home after the event... road trip, started doing some improvements, simular to what I have done to my above black Sw20.
Just copied my other sw20, marking out frunk radiator wall to reduce some weight & give better air flow.

Stripped most of the interior out

Fitted some seats, harness & extinguisher.

Fitted a sports wheel

& swapped out the original air filter with a K&N one.

More to come!

Nice! Will you be cutting vents into the hood too? I've been wanting to do something like that for a while now

Get a fire extinguisher with a metal strap! Your one with just a plastic clip will hit you in the back of the head or go through the windscreen if you crash.

I'd say a mounting point on the tunnel on the passenger side would be a good thing as well. Belts off, lean down and grab. Can be hard to twist and grab at the thing if you are dazzled from a knock.

Car ran flawless over the entire 3 days at WP for the mr2 challenge.
Managed to do a 1:16, pretty happy with it but can't help want more power... so plans are in place to rectify that problem 😉, stay tuned!
