thank ya's. :)

as a random addition, i bought another new momo the other week. got it last weekend.

Its a Momo Mod69
its like a mod79, montecarlo, etc, but no hand grips above the centre. its simple, and nice to drive with. the Suede is certainly different, much more grippy than it is soft! I got it pretty much just because it was suede, and i didnt have a suede wheel....
speaking of which, 5th Momo in 12 months, and 3rd new one! Momo collection... growing... :P

other than that.. just cruising about...

Hey man, how do you find your BC's???

pretty much what i wrote here:

me in the distant pastto be honest, they are absolutley rock hard.
on a smooth road they are stunning, but anything slightly bumpy they are out and out atrocious.. no joke. just HARD. bumpy country roads the car will be outrun by a camry, as the wheels spend more time in the air than on the ground. its not so much the 8k rears, but those 5-6kg fronts.. eeeck...

BUT

i like this. its damn entertaining...! i like cars to be a bit of a prick to drive.. just have something unique/quirky going on. I feel like im in a race car. :)

quality is also fantastic. I've been running mine for what would be not far off a year now, without a hassle. I'd have no hesitation in buying another set the minute one makes any noise. they're CHEAP!

basically, id get a ride in a BC'd Adub before you buy. you may or may not like it.

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe i was a little bit over the top here...

they're hard, but i really really do like it.

i can take you for a drive in it if you like.

and now..
a batch of terrible AND random photos, taken over the last week.
starting with this one..

which ****s me. as it was the only pic i took in that location. with the DSLR's, the battery's last so goddamn long, that i get lazy. :$
will be going back there anyway. its pretty.. and the sun sets in the right place.

then theres these two shots:

rediculously, taken at 11pm, no light, no flash, middle of no-where (actually, my favourite location.. but still distancey..!)
impossible to focus. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too dark for autofocus, and so dark through the viewfinder that it was pretty much trial-and-error.

and then wow.. B&W settings. oh joy with the stupidity..!

the lack of boot and handbrake angle depresses me. :(

bugger it.

colour!

Looking good mate. I want your wheels, and your steering wheel.
About the only thing I'd change is your muffler, never been a big fan of the barrel across the back of AW's. At least yours is shiny.
My 2c on  BC's, pretty much what rds has said, but not as harsh as people would have you believe.
In saying that, I can feel the thickish painted lines on the roads.

thanks mate..!
but aargh.. you're nuts! the Fujitsubo is one of my favorite things about the car!
as i mentioned a couple pages ago though; I'm still keen to grab a 5zigen border to get a bit more noise. they look like a goddamn motorbike cannon <_<

Cheers for the insight regarding the bc's guys. Top snaps as always RdS
Ha! funny as. Ive been thinking about replacing my Fujitsubo... it does stand out, and more to the point im convinced cos the mufler sits so close to the sheet metal its the reason the boot gets pretty toasty! Found this on Monday must be new havnt seen it before.

Had a powergetter on the daily vitz, made it sound like a bike or a hard tuned rotor. at least 1000 times awesome through tunnels. no exaggeration.
keen as
