So I don't see it as being much of an issue.
thanks for the heads up with it. i can imagine there'll be a bit of stuffing around to get it working properly, but i can only hope that it was run on a similar car in Japan!

It allows more flexibility with the air/fuel ratio. When I got my car from Japan the F-con + GCC were already in it, but the tune was terrible as it was running VERY rich and only getting 83rwkw. Not sure if this was due to poor tune in Japan, or the switch to our 95RON fuel (Tassie - what can i say). A quick re-adjustment saw 100rwkw and much smoother power delivery.
i guess it didnt then. the bits that are included are in the pics.. and i dont see anything extra. :(
hopefully it hasnt been washed out to sea by now! it was still waiting in japan to go sea-freight as far as i knew...

the cleaner i used on the back of the wheels was 'Oomph' (but theres plenty of similar mild cleaner/degreaser's on the market). You can buy it for nothing at Bunnings. i high-pressure wash the wheels first, then spray the cleaner on. wait a minute or so, then just get onto it with a cloth before washing it off again. doesn't put up much of a fight.
Remember though, that grime was only a few months old tops; the cleaner doesn't work too fantastic on really built up vintage grime. i have older wheels which it made some attempt at cleaning, but they'd just gone too far.
Best thing to do is just keep onto it. nice wheels are $$$, and it doesn't make sense to neglect them...!

You can order them through repco/bursons/autobarn/whatever. they're made by Transteering, and you can see the part number in the pic. :)
should be somewhere less than $30 each, but i really cant remember.
as far as quality goes, they're skinny which is my only concern (bending), but i havnt had any trouble yet. done only a few thousand km, but ill update this thread if anything sour happens!

The front half of the wheels gets washed every time i wash the car. i use a wheel cleaner from a detailing company here in Melbourne (final inspection). the poo poo is potent as, and ive used it for a long time now. but i worry about it sometimes!!
