No, it looks home-made, but nicely done, maybe in a workshop. It has egr and all.

Nice b-pipe too :

Also, the box that was in is not an mr2 box, it has been converted from a FWD corolla or similar.

When I pulled the lever and dust boot off the selector shaft, I found this :

The case has been drilled (like I did), but no oil seal has been fitted. Surprisingly, it never used to leak much, but it was always oily around there.

So - is it a c52 or c56 ? how do I tell ?

Blcktop and 6-speed are bolted in !
All mounts lines up, all gears select ok.
Another rally coming up (BP Ultimate - 4 days, thousands of km), and then I'll finish plumbing and cabling.
It's finally in!

Nice work. Looking forward to seeing it on the road and track.

Yeah, I'm dying to drive it. I can't do anything for a couple of weeks, then we should get the rest done over a weekend. The HRA (historic rally assn) are having a day at the Haunted Hills track in June, and I aim to be there in the mr2. It's that or the van, and although the van is "mid-engined" and 4wd, I don't see it as a track weapon.
I still have to design airbox/filter system and cold-air intake, sort out oil cooling, plumbing, hook up the cruise control & aircon, and get an exhaust made.
The biggest headache will be removing the old alarm - I've taken it out, and traced the wires to a rats-nest of wiring under the dash : yuk.

evl_132 - how close are you to finished are you ? And which state ?

Tell me about it! I too am trying to tidy up the $#%^ job someones done at wiring in my alarm. Some people shouldn't be allowed near cars let alone work on them.

Id say I'm only a few days away from turning the key. It will always be an ongoing project, for instance I just purchased an APexI powerfc (stand alone plug in ecu) which will need to be tuned.

Im from Vic and if im not mistaken I think I met you at the mr2 haunted hills track day last year. I drive/drove a black gen3 non turbo sw20 with gold wheels. Check out my showroom thread for pictures

Good luck with the alarm! Sadly, mine looks like it was "professionally" installed - and they put the main alarm ecu in the engine bay, about 8" from the #1 exhaust header !
Ahh yes evl_132, you're another Adrian no? I remember meeting you at HH.

And now we both have to sell the old driveline - mine includes aircon and all accessories.
The hard bit is pricing : I had both the a/c and gearbox rebuilt before I decided to swap the driveline. I see you have the sw20 engine etc. for sale; how do you set a price ?
