Hey guys thought I'd share my pride and joy with you
Bought it a while back in June from a fellow forum member and has been nothing but pure pleasure since
It's a 1990 mr2 manual with a gen 2 3sge had a full head reco haven't done a compression test but I would say its awesome especially since when I changed the oil last I ran a full compression restorer detox trough it and drained the oil (absolute **nt to get the oil filter out)
Bought a drift magnetic core filter only because it has a socket on the tip of it to tighten it makes life heaps easier.
Running liqui moly mos2 oil seems really good/ was running royal purple 15-40 but was a bit expensive
Was completely stock bar the rims and panel filter
Since then
I have picked up some rims from a mate to have the gtr/gtst staggered set up, custom made the hub rings out of steel as I couldn't get any
Installed a weapon R secret cai which finishes at the gills and wrapped the alloy piping with some insulation I had- awesome intake
Had a 2.5 inch hi flo cat installed for a hundred cell it's not drony at all then had a 2.5 inch custom made mandrel bent exhaust as the old one was 2 inch press bent and rusting out- made huge difference in terms or power, weight... And noise lol
Installed 8.8mm top gun ignition leads good spark plugs
New fuel filter
Short shifter
Wideband O2 sensor, lc1 box and afr gauge
About to have an apexi safc installed and tuned not sure what it will put out I'm hoping ATM 95-100 atw and when it's done in th hundreds
Things I'd love to be done bottom end rebuild hi comp forged pistons and rings eagle light rods head studs and bearings
And that would be about it maybe. Cams but I'm happy with it now
Having coilovers delivered this week hopefully BC BRs :)
Apart from that absolute awsome car owned a Celica before it and I thought that was good :p heheh
I baby my sdub so much my missus is getting jealous heheh not too mention I nearly spend more money on the sdub then her
