Not disputing what essdub has to say at all but IMO
235 is a little big for a stock Na
I'm running 205 front and a 215 rear wanting to down grade the front to a 195
Any bigger then say a 215 front and the steering would feel to heavy in my opinion but then again I have a model with no power steering :p
And 215 the tyre I'm running a GT radial champiro hpx
215/40/16 and only cost me 140 a tyre
These tyres are by far the best in wet and dry and in terms of cost the best I have ever owned. And quiet as.
Mine being an earlier model 1990 that tyre set up is quite nice holds to the road on roundabouts at 100kms no issues at all I think any higher the steering would become heavy and you would sap some power
But if your going for looks then go for a fat tyre your own choice.
And my mr2 runs bc br coilovers
Intake/100 cell cat and a full exhaust besides the headers. Still yet to have it tuned and a piggy back installed and a ported manifold to go on new fpr and bored fuel rail :DThis is my opinion however
I'm sure a lot of these guys know what they are talking about but if you were to turbo charge it then probably upgrade the tyres to a fatter tyre.
My 2 cents
Sorry to ramble on
Very nice buy
How much did you pay?
