I've had my 1990 SW20 Turbo for 5 years and never replaced the leads/rotor or distributor cap.  Yes my bad.

So I've done the right thing and got all the goodies(OEM) from twosrus.

Replacement going very well, until I try to remove one of the leads from the spark plug and the "tip" doesn't come out. See the pic below.

I've tried to put the original lead back to try and wedge the "tip" out but no luck.  What a bugger!!!

Any advice on how to get this thing out of the spark plug hole?

Help!

Thanks
Colin

Ok, solved it myself.

"Borrowed" (not to be returned) 2 metal skewers from the wife.  Pushed them in hard either side of the spark plug, and there you go.

Phew!

Plus the car runs smoothly.

Its amazing the stuff women have available.
But well done getting the little s***out of there.
I always twist a bit and you can feel it come free from the porcelain of the plug.  Then pull the lead up.
Ive never left them in for that long either.

I've left mine in for 10yrs.. but in that time only did 12kms.
Yeah as Doug mentioned, best not to pull directly up on them until you have twisted & loosened them free.

Good work mate.
