Went to Bursons and the guy there said they're around $500 and I told him there was no way it is worth that even! lol. But seriously, it is definitely not that complex a piece of machinery

You can get reconditioned units for around 250-400, someone on the board here paid 600 I think it was for a new one, awhile ago. Good used ones are usually 100-150. Definitely not worth any of it.
You should be able to repair yours if the board isn't badly damaged.
Should you scrap yours, I'll offer you $25 for the connector socket you unscrewed.
