Hey so I'm upgrading to MSD blaster ss coils
I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I need to do this so I can take everything to the shop and get it all installed and done.

I have a 92 3sgte
Haltech sprint 500
4 x MSD blaster ss coils

I went to the tuner and he recommended just hooking up 1 coil to the dizzy as that's all I would need for the amount of power I'm making. But I would prefer to use all 4.

I am still trying to understand how it's all wired up it's doing my head in trying to figure it out.

I want new leads as well as mine are skinny ****ty ones but the coils will most likely mounted further away than the dizzy so what leads do I get? I've seen MSD customizable leads that you make yourself but what about the boot to prevent water getting down to the plugs?

Do I need an igniter? According to the haltech sprint 500 instructions it says I need one if your car doesn't come with an igniter. Do our cars come with an igniter or do I need to buy one?

Also where do people recommend mounting them? I was originally thinking near the fuse box but I just saw this and was thinking something like this.

I'd take a bit of a punt and suggest that the location wouldn't be great for your application.  Keiths car is a supercharged beasty, and isn't going to suffer from the same heat issues that your turbo car will.  Have you thought about mounting the coils at the gearbox end of the head?

This is how my engine bay looks now, I was thinking somewhere to the left of the intake manifold.

I'd prefer to keep ignition sources away from fuel. So my preference would be r/h side of intake manifold.
