MANDALAY Thanks, I just hope I can keep it clean for a long time, I couldnt beleve how dirty it was. And yeah ill make sure I grind some paint of where I ground it
stuka Thanks

Got the oil cooler mounted and started on the intercooler. Im thinking about putting a fan on the oil cooler as well. Im going to modify the fuel filler so the air filter can sit under the intercooler

How big is the oil cooler ?
If you have time and really want to and the oil cooler isn't to big you might get 2 fans in there like mine

There is also a small 4inch to work as per normal by the engine lid sensor. At least there will be some circulation.
Also the OEM car fan computer there is a pin number 8 which if you connect an earth it will bypass the sensor and turn on the fan.
My fan on the oil cooler can always be on because its the SC cooler and the colder the better but my MoTec turns it on at 55 degrees.
If you have a fan it will have a predetermined temp range to turn on so reall there isn't much fan movement in your bay. Being a turbo i still would want a fan.

BTW are you going to use a aftermarket ECU ?
If so see if it can handle a wide band knock sensor.
Its Toyota part

Wide band OEM knock sensor

and do check your fuel line before you put the engine in.
Last thing you want is a leak

Also we checked that we had no fuel line leaks :)

Dont forget to put your body loom in before the intercooler is set in place or it will be an absolute beach to get in

Also noticed you didnt block off the air con pipes.
Remember to tell the place where you filled it , because moisture in the AC lines isn't good

The oil cooler isn't that big 7.5" x 11.5"
I was only thinking of the fan to help get air flow through the engine bay but I do have two thermos in the engine lid that run all the time.

Ive alraedy got a Autronic smc in it, and they wont take a knok sensor.

Yeah the body loom is running through the 1/4 with the fuse box in the boot

B24 whats the plan for yours?

nice oil cooler mount andy, i doubt you would need a fan on that cooler though.
