Well, I did have plans to get the car painted over the Christmas Holidays but after speaking with several painters I've decided to wait a few months. The reasons being that up here we are in our Wet Season which means hot, very humid (close to 100% humidity) rainy weather...as opposed to our Dry Season (hot, dry, no rain).
Hence, right now isn't the perfect time to get the car painted - too much moisture in the air - and since it'll be costing a fair amount, might as well get it done right the first time. So now looking at sometime around May...
I replaced my crossmember (had a very small crack in it that wouldn't pass rego) with one from Totenkopf. Painted it and put it in...took around 3 hours, and while I was there, put in the red Kirkosaurus engine mount inserts that I got off Mrskylighter a loooooooooonnnnnnngg time ago lol.
(Note: Still haven't made my mind up about the inserts. I like the firmness of them on take off and hard launches, as well as 'feeling' more of the engine, though don't really like the vibration at idle.)
I also decided to upgrade my side mount intercooler set up. I went with a top mount A2A option, measured it all up, got the BIGGEST core I could fit in the lefthand side of the engine bay.

http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info.php?cPath=207&products_id=208&osCsid=4f0dea93c355639ffdc64d726130d95a. The BOV adapter I managed to find on eBay (was slightly hard as I wanted to keep my Blitz DD BOV) and the Spal fan I already had :)
The install was slightly tricky - mainly due to the fact that the core was probably a little on the big side. I had to move the coolant filler, took off my gas prop (need to fab up some brackets to put on the drivers side), and adjust the air filter. Oh, and the straight coupler from the BOV adapter to the intercooler wasn't long enough - so I put in a joining section (will probably change this later on).
Apart from those issues, it fitted ok.

There is also the fan underneath the core (hard to see in the pics), it's bolted to some brackets that I fabbed up.
All in all, I like it. Cooler air, away from the dump pipe, bigger core, less pipes and bends, and probably cost around the same amount as a sidemount intercooler.
