yeah too much in fact, i could have bough another MR2 for the money i spent :(
tbh i didnt have the time to think about the rebuild options etc as i didnt plan for it, just went with the normal/common upgrade stuff (which the engine builder suggested, and has proven itself many a time), i think almost every 3sgte build ive seen have used the same parts ive gone with
the gen 3 would involve more rewiring etc and i didnt want that plus its another gamble on what condition engine i would get, this way i know its all new, cars was due for a major service belts, gaskets, pumps etc so i reckon in the long run i did the right thing.
i need to grow a money tree in the backyard soon, or get real good at robbing banks
