I assume the fans are for the engine lid shrouds bought via the group buy or from somewhere else?

I'm curious how people have mounted them, there's quite a gap from the shroud to the mounting point on the fan itself so are standoffs being used or just long bolts done up tight?

Yes I bought one of Totenkopfs shrouds many moons ago. In terms of mounting, I'm not sure, probably have to fab something up. There was some information in one of the group buy threads years back , but can't find it.

tbh at this point it's probably best i'm not part of the order, my parts alone come to near AUD$900 so we would most certainly cross the tax threshold and incur additional costs.  That and i'm out of the country later this month for several months.

So are you going ahead with the order or not?  There is always going to be a freight component.
I decided to check with Toyota close to home to see if they could get the seals at a reasonable price.   LOL, not likely. They wanted more than double what I can get them for including freight.

Just for the newbies and keeping new parts at a reasonable price;

Amayama is cheap for Toyota genuine parts - delivered to your door.
PrimeMR2, ATS Racing, Twosrus will ship to Australia. They ship express and insured (costs money).
MyUS is a cheap freight forwarding service, so the above suppliers can send to the MyUS and they freight forward in cheap rates including insurance and no excess for size restrictions like other freight forward services.
Australia charges high fees for having grape after than $1000 of item brought in one package.

There are reasonable priced Australian suppliers like WTF auto, Gorrilla industries.

eBay (especially with eBay global shipping) is cheap.

Additional handy info for MR2 newbies:

If you want genuine Toyota parts, no matter where you buy stuff from you will first need the correct Toyota part number from somewhere like Toyodiy: https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/
or this mob: http://jp-carparts.com/to...e=211120&cartype=3
They have pics that helps, but I always crosscheck with Toyodiy to be sure the number is right for my model. I have found they have accurate listings especially for ADM cars.

Amayma is interesting;
Depending on what you want, with Amayama a lot of their Toyota stuff is delivery from Australia (see the example I have given below) so shipping is less.  You can also pay straight away, and you'll get it quicker, but read their payment and ordering conditions carefully because you have different options.
https://www.amayama.com/en/search?q=9031142018

If what you need is shown as delivery from Japan or elsewhere you will have to put in an enquiry, and they will check and get back to you with a definite quote.
If you want to go ahead, you can then confirm and pay for the order.

I have been using Amayama lately and have been happy with the quick postage and always arrived well packaged.

Amayama
Roof seals - $545.38 AUD + $41.53 AUD Total $586.91 AUD (might be $15.00 extra for quicker postage from Japan).

Twosrus
Roof seals - $340.00 USD + $73.17 USD Total: $413.17 USD. Using the Commbank exchange rate currently makes it around $594.31 AUD

You will need to find out if your share of the postage cost in the group buy works out to be more than $105.00 AUD ($73.00 USD), including the postage from twosrus plus postage to your door. Even if the saving was $30.00 the question would be is it worth your time waiting for items to get divided up repackaged and posted.

Food for thought.
