Just wanted to see if there is any interest for a group of us to have a day out at Mallala race track (day event)?  http://www.mallala.com/events/track-days-practice/
I would suggest the 'Practice - Cars Only' dates, only 2 dates remain for the year.

Information

Gates open at 9am and the first session starts at 10 am.
The pricing information is:

• Cars - $110.00
• Bikes - $125.00
• Drift - $100.00

One day licences are $25.00 for all non-annual licence holders.
Full leathers are required for bike practice and full coverage clothing in cotton or wool (not synthetic) for car practice.
An Australian Standards approved helmet essential.

Cars for Drift Practice MUST have working head & tail lights for night practices.
SPECTATORS $10, Kids Under 14 FREE. This is for all practices..

Just want to start a list of potentials that are intending on locking in the Mallala practice day.  So far it seem that FRIDAY NOV 16TH is most favourable.

Nov is my preference, August 17th too close to WTAC and Monthly meet for me.

EssDub, not sure, I think you just rock up on the day.  I know 'PANMR2' has been out there recently on a 'Drift' practise day.  Speaking with him, he stated you just head out on the day.

Maybe make it November then?  Gives me time to fit all the good stuff to the car and test it :)

Keen for November. Should have the car sorted by then. Likewise August is too close to WTAC for me.

Update on Mallala info.  Just got of the phone to 'Clem Smith' booking & enquires for Mallala, here are the details if we want to head out on one of the days.  By the way Nov 16th is my preference also, Clem stated that Friday would be best as not many are out there hence would almost have the entire place to ourselves.  But most of us work so see what happens.
 
All payable on the day.
$110 per vehicle
$25 for a CAM licence (1 day permit)
TOTAL $135 for the day.
 
Recommended no later that 9:30am arrival open till 4:30pm, helmet, long top/pants.
should get at least (6) 15min sessions.
