Considered it, But I'd probably scratch it and miss having torque. Maybe one day second hand when I can't be bothered fixing MR2s.

Seems Top Gear and lots of other blogs and mags got it wrong. I imagine Toyota Australia will not be pleased about that either!

My cranky old boss is a die hard Toyota man. He was ready to line up cash in hand, until he found out that subaru is offering their version for about 5k cheaper as a starting price.

Why the big difference toyoda-san??

Subie dealer told me that Subarus would be dearer than Toyotas as they were only getting heavily specced up editions. Dealer sells both Toyota and Subaru and probably still not sure what they are talking about. They didn't have any hard pricing information for either.

Would be a good company car. Well have another 2 years with the Euro and by that time the 86 would of had an upgrade and if any bugs they should be ironed out.

Maybe a FI might get introduced ?

One thing i do know my mate in the states already has one and is going to be supplying power up kits :) Secret can tell
