the brakes are bigger all round on the GTS and vented on the rear. GT is solid rear.

also if your getting an auto, only the GTS auto has LSD

the seats are nice in both trim levels but the GTS seats look more posh. the dash trim peice on the GTS is twice as nice as the Gt because the GT is blank, the GTS has the cool little T themed logo that the car is littered with.
the GTS gets dual zone climate control with push button start and keyless smart entry-  the GTS gets satnav with free traffic updates the GTS gets HIS lights and LED DRLs, the GTS gets larger brakes and larger wheels. the GTS gets a stitched leather(well i guess imitation leather) gear lever boot and gear lever handle.  GTS gets digital speedo read out and a programmable shiftlight.

GTS gets ddriver and passenger knee padding also in red stitched leather.

the GTS is the nicer car, but if you are just after the driving experience, just get the GT manual.

i wanted a posh car to go along with it.

^what he said - I've driven both and the GTS is a MUCH better presented car.
-keyless smart entry is great, you only have to have the key in your pocket and it'll open/start.
-larger brakes can never be a bad thing.
-digital speedo is great because I find the analogue really hard to read as the lines are too close together.
-shiftlight is great so I don't blow the engine up chasing MaXim. lol
- climate is good so I can just focus on driving instead of adjusting the damn thing.
- driving both with and without HIDs the GT had candles for headlights in the rain (ie. cant see)

I'd personally get the GTS, because my only other vehicle is a motorbike and when its raining etc I wanna be comfortable (and safe) lol

As I thought and maintain, a lot of goodies BUT it would depend on the purpose of the car.  Daily = GTS. Weekend warrior = GT with $5000 spent on upgrades of choice.
I am surprised that with all the extra goodies the GTS has, it is only 18kg heavier
