we gave our DSG 2.0T Eos the flick a month before warranty expires..

I liked the manual for overall driving experience and from a daily street driven experience.

Im not buying it based on its merits on.the track as I dont own a track that I will be using it on daily/weekly etc.

i bought the manual because we all know that this car will turn into a touge demon like all my other cars.

I reckon the auto will be quick in the twisties, don't have to worry about heel toeing or any of that bs just focus on steering and braking etc.

yeah that too.. i will let you guys know, since i will have unrestricted access to both

MRTurbo don't have to worry about heel toeing or any of that bs.

that's part of what i consider to be driving enjoyment.
 
i prefer more involvement/control, don't want computers etc doing stuff for me.
 
but isn't that why they hade a manual and an auto? becuase everybody is different.

white GTS manual because it will be the most valuable later on ,.

I saw Toyota's ad for the "eight-six", it was ok.  I would have rather seen the being drifted on an actual track rather than in the dirt.
I understand the concept for the new track and all however seeing the car get flung around a corner would have been cool :)

its well worth the extra for the GTS...especially if its a daily etc
the GT is bare bones poverty pack.

I might be wrong here, but what does GTS get over GT that I would want to spend $5k on? Interior gadgetry? - no, Leather - no, HIDS - mmm maybe beneficial... 17"rims and tyres - well yeah, but I could find nicer (IMO) ones aftermarket...
Is there anything else, suspension or something of actual benefit? Or just stuff that adds weight and cost but is not necessary (IMO)
I have not looked into the specs, so am just unsure of what all the differences are
