Grid's now have the R888's fitted, makes them look more aggressive.

Wheel alignment went well, now have good amounts of camber front and rear and it rides a lot lower, but I need RCA's now. Will post a photo of the alignment sheet later :)

Started tackling the rear flares this afternoon and it turned out to be more of a challenge then originally though.

I've done some welding of thin metals before with a stick welder and was confident I could get the tack welds in place that are required to join the inner guard to the outer skin when you cut them.

After barely tacking some 3" of guard inbetween blowing holes in it, I got desperate.... This serves as purely a thing of what not to do...

As ugly and horrible as it looks/is, it is mechanically good and just as strong as a weld.I then coped a massive coating of seam sealer to keep the weather out and hide the **** job that was done and the flare was refitted.

I admire your openness.

I think I would only post the pretty stuff I had done.

Maybe that's why I don't post so much.

Does it steer ok with all the extra wheel offset?

I don't mind posting my feck ups as it's a good way for others to learn from my mistakes. I haven't driven it more then a few kilometers so far so can't really comment on the steering right now, but so far it feels the same.
