Not sure what's going on with your strut brace, it's not a supercharged one, they have a big kink in them to clear the IC.
Looks like the mounting flanges are a bit high.
Scrutineers might have trouble with the lack of a latch.
Enjoy the trackday!

The strut won't clear the NA engine cover because of the water deflector plates below the vents. The supercharger lid doesn't have these. If scrutineers don't like it, I'll just take the cover off, I did this at Wakefield and they didn't mind

Weird, so the brace is meant for an NA AW11 with an SC engine cover?

Extra engine cooling :-) Lets face it the aerodynamics around the rear of the car couldn't get any worse could they!

Installed my "Shorter Shifter" tonight

Basically a stock AW11 shifter with 50mm cut out of it and the cable tab cut and welded higher.
Have a few days to get use to it before Lakeside.

The 1MZ COP's arrived today for the V6 project

Ended up costing me $70 shipped to my door, bargain!

Well the AW11 wentreally well at Lakeside and set a 1:10.340 in the last session with a balls to the wall run.
The new digital temperature gauge was fantastic, it was brilliant to be able to glance at it and know exactly the temp, no guessing if the needle has moved a fraction since the last lap or waiting for it to time bomb and boil. Hottest the car ran all day was 97'c after 6 solid laps.

I managed to borrow a pyrometer from Dennis (Thanks mate! I'll be investing in one of these soon!) and found the the front camber I had adjusted the night before was working well, it showed with the temperatures being fairly close across the surface of the tire and the wear looked pretty even. The rear however needs the camber wound up a bit more, which I'll do with the camber bolts I have. Will be focusing on my racing line and setting the car up a little better, to improve my lap times instead of just wacking more HP into the motor or buying better tires.

Some weight reduction may be on the cards as well though (Both car and me! )
