The Wakefield Park Challenge is back in 2019, with a slightly different name, and multiple days throughout the year to hopefully suit everyone.
Full details can be found on the Wakefield Park Challenge web site - http://wakefieldparkchallenge.com.au/
If you have any questions, please ask!
We look forward to seeing you there.

Are we looking at running a 2 or even a 3 day event in Oct this year? Simular to previous years?

I believe October is still a 2 day event following the Nationals in Canberra

Correct. That's the current plan.

When do entries open for the October event? Maybe an expression of interest is appropriate so the interstaters can get an idea if this will be as big as previous years, as we all make the trip for the social aspect as well as the racing.

With it being just after MR2 Nationals in Canberra, we are hoping both will be bigger
Interstate travellers can enjoy both in the 1 trip

The plan is to open entries on Friday. You can pay direct debit or via Eventbrite. I still have the MTC account which will be the hub for all payments.
Cost is 640 with all the original MTC tracks being run for 2019, garages for he weekend, accommodation, bbq and hopefully Tree's cooking will finally return!
Sharon and myself will be running the day with help from WP if we cannot get enough volunteers.
I will have my race car there but will not be driving every session available, just when I get a chance to drive.

Ok the Wakefield Park Challenge/Mr2 Trackday Challenge is now online.

Its pretty important that we all register and pay asap so there are no hiccups for 2019.
Here is the link: https://wakefieldparkchallenge.com.au/entry.html

I almost forgot how much work can be involved running the event. Between Glenn and myself we are closing on 80 hours with more to come!

Thanks Mike,
Hopefully it all falls into place for 2019. Having the Tarmac stage and full CAMS hillclimb will help.
