Wondering if anyone has had any experience/feedback regarding the quality and fitment with full aluminium radiators advertised for sw20's sold on ebay going cheap?
Here is a example:

Thanks in advance

Yep. eBay from Melbourne supplier, turbo style, great product, cheap, very happy.
Firmest; large top relief nut pushes against the front frame when removing for the last few turns, a bit of work to get the nut off to bleed the air.

I bought a eBay one once it was ****.
1. didn't keep the 3SGTE to temp
2. Started leaking from the core
Put a mishimoto in, no coolant issues anymore.

Challenge in this conversation is eBay is a sales channel not a product. Like saying I bought a set of brake pads from an auto store....
Sept 2014, $160, eBay seller yyautoparts.

Completely agree with you tony mr2. Reason why i call it ebay radiator is because These generic products dont seem to have a brand and they all pretty much look the same.
So they sell under the sellers name on ebay and i assume they all get made in same place.
Iam intrested in the e full aluminium version without any plastic tanks so if they fit ok and flow well i would rather get that over radiator with plastic end tanks that have seals and potential to leak one day.

Yep all aluminium.
Make sure seller is in Australia. Get it installed straight away. Also a good time to change your thermostat (highflow), radiator cap, Toyota coolant.
I got mine from Melbourne / Australian seller as was then living close to Melbourne at the time / easy for returns if needed. Had a good feedback score and long time eBay seller.

Make sure the one you buy has an allowance for your temp sensor to trigger the fans. I have a car that has an aftermarket alloy radiator in it - has nowhere for the temp sensor to go so the fans go flat tack all the time.

Thanks Dudeman.. Didn't t even think of the sensor. Will double check that before ordering.

I bought one off eBay about 9 months back after my standard radiator developed several leaks. It was a Fenix brand and shipped from Sydney to Melbourne in 2 days. It had no fitment issues and so far has performed well. Cost was around $300 from memory.

I also run a Fenix radiator and has performed very well (apart from bleeding with a bung instead of a tap). I have also had friends use base line eBay ones with good results. Its not a technical piece of equipment but some do lack the capacity to cool the 3SGTE. I'd reccomend not getting the cheapest but maybe the next best. Mishimoto, Fenix, Koyo and PWR I've heard good results about.
