The 2018 Annual MR2 QLD Tech Day will be held at Fulcrum Suspension Capalaba. This will take place on the 25th of Aug and start at 9:30am. The address is below.

2/41 Neumann Rd, Capalaba

Michael has been nice enough to offer us this unique opportunity to take our cars there, put them on the shaker machine and help members work out where their cars are falling short in their suspension setups.

Michael has been doing wheel alignments for a fair few of our members now for the past couple of years, and all those would agree that their cars have never driven as well as after pulling out of his workshop.

This is a unique and cool opportunity for members to learn more about their suspension setups, have their cars actually looked at and have the chance to talk with the staff there at Fulcrum about their own personal questions about their cars suspension setups.

So let’s make this tech day a good one guys, put it in your calendar and let’s show Michael we really appreciate his generous offer of time and knowledge of the staff at Fulcrum Capalaba.

They will also put on a BBQ for us, so there will be food and snacks.

Note this event is only for current financial club members, new members may join up on the day.

This was certainly a very well attended and most enjoyable day.
Fulcrum Suspension staff were a pleasure to talk with as they worked on each car.
It was great to see how well organised they were and how well they worked together as a team too.
Absolutely a top day!!  A big thanks to all of the people at Fulcrum Suspension Capalaba.
I found a half mm. bit of movement in one of the rear suspension joints about 12 months ago and these blokes were right onto it. Well spotted.  I lost a bet on the toe at both ends of the car as I had about 0 toe at the rear and bloody FIVE mm.in the front. Obviously can't tell me arse from me elbow and can't pick it on the track either as it felt pretty good to me at Morgan Park just three days earlier.
Might be why Pat reckoned it was understeering all day when he came up to drive it about a month earlier on brand new tyres. I couldn't get near him though it was great fun trying.
Fulcrum corner weighed the cars which was interesting. My black thing came in at 1150kg. as I run it at the track.
Be interesting to compare other cars weights on the same scales and same day ??  Do tell.

Dang it, missed this.... had nothing on and missed this original post. Might be time to get FB... or not 🤔

Your car is light! I reckon mine would be + 150kg.
