Both me and Rick went on the 11th along with a new MR2 owner we hadn't met before. He had just bought a SW20 Turbo but were suffering from severe brake fade and engine cutting out while cornering so only ran a session or two.
 
Here's my quickest lap of the day. Improved by over a second so massively happy with that one:

Timmy you can improve on your time. Speciality on corner one, I do not go into that so hot with a mr2, I dab the brake just before and turn in, then with full acceleration power through corner it stop back of the mr2 sliding and you are at a better setup position for the next long left corner. Mr2 do not like a full turn into a corner at a fluttering 50% throttle it makes the back end light and slide and it loses time. Hope this helps.

Rick, How did you go with times?

1:30.7 i think.
I'm waiting to check the video to confirm it as my phone played up in my last session.. I had done a 1:31.7 on the previous lap (2) and was going a second quicker on the last timing sector on lap 3 when the phone froze for the rest of the session...

Anyone interested in coming out this Saturday? 
 
I get back from Hong Kong late this week,  I'm keen. ..been missing my mr2s.
 
Currently i think rob,  Lee, myself, hopefully Rick, rodney and timmy can too.  practise day 2nd of May - (Saturday)
If anyone else wants to join in that would be great.
