i think you mean brackets.

I did the design,templates and drawings then passed it onto a local engineer with a waterjet cutter to cut out the 'bones'(thanks for the lead EVO). I then tapped the holes then fitted the system.
So I only needed to pay for the steel and the cutting which was under $100. Everything else is what costs the money. If I contracted someone in to do all the work it would cost $250 each 'bone'.
Due to tolerances I used steel instead of Aluminium as it would have been too weak.

I'm considering adapting a set of rotors and calipers which don't bolt straight on.

Finally managed to have my first run on EC since 2004.
The first part of the day was bedding in brakes and sorting tyre pressures and the likes with the rest of the day enjoying the car and slowly discovering the track.
At the moment I very slow as far as lap times go. I have excuses which can justify a certain amount of time but most is simply down to driver skill. The brakes are very nice as is the triple pedal assembly which I highly recommend to anyone considering this path. The pads are only for bedding in or enduro events as the pad is not all that aggressive. They were very consistant with no fade in any shape or form. I only managed 6-7 lap dashes but there was no fad issues. I mean Im not sure I could even get these up to the correct operating temps! I dont have any idea of yard stick but I was at 6300rpm/4th gear braking 10mtrs after the 100 mark into turn 2 and could have come to a complete stop before the apex if required. It feel excellent without power assistance with a huge amount of feel throughout the range.
As far as power, it would go over 7psi which could be for who knows what reason. Unfortunately I didnt discover this till the last session so I could have tried a few things including adjustments to the AVCR. Also discovered that the throttle cable would only operate to 75% of the throttle body linkage due to the setting on the pedal box! Bugger..
Third to Fourth gear is still a bain, never going in when required. Every change would take three goes until it let me in..
Otherwise it was very nice to drive managing to throw it around in the last session.
I ran with 6 street/track attack cars with only a tuner spec GTR making life hard. All the other cars including a EVO,Tuned S14, BMW, Capri V6(full race car) and a few other were all easily dispatched through any braking location or corner. As I lacked power I could not simply drive past anyone but corner speed was a different story.
I had a few issues at 190-200 with stability which I will sort out. I think the front is a little too high and the rear wing needs more attack.
No break downs, over heating, electrical issues,oil leaks, nothing.

Time was 1.56 with most being 1.57 in traffic.
This was from one session with no timing of any other sessions.

I picked up a clutch and flywheel yesterday while in QLD. It is a carbon clutch taken from a F3000( one step below F1). The owner then fabricated the flywheel to mount the clutch and FW to his 3SGTE motor. Since the car has since been sold on this was up for sale so I picked it up.
Total weight being 4.5kg.
What sold me was he had previously fitted a tilton unit which was a total pain to live with but finds the carbon unit as easy as a standard clutch. So this will be fitted in the near future.

I saw that on Fleabay, great to see it's going to proper use!
