we have a professionally rebuilt MR2 turbo engine, 1991 version. new rings on teflon coated pistons, bearings, cam belt, belt tensioner & idler roller, block chemically cleaned and honed, new core plugs & water pump, valves reseated, new valve guide seals , head faced etc etc. fully assembled $2300 outright or $1850 exchange. Can also fit it up with rebuilt turbo, manifolds etc for an additional $850 if exchange. Engine comes with warranty.

we will charge a $500 deposit on the engine, refundable when your engine comes back. freight to you will be $90.

sorry, no Gen 3 turbo engines at present. they are extremly hard to buy and most we have seen are stuffed

oh ok then how about gen2!!??
im looking for 200kw turbo engine at the wheel not flywheel. or more than 200kw would be great but depends on the cost thou.
how many gen 2 engines do u have ? cheers

ps again on them prices above pls. i could drive up to qld and get engine install!!

we can still supply rebuilt standard engines as per the original posting. These are quite reliable in stock form provided owners do not let them run low on oil or overheat. we will only do modified engines if the buyer is prepared to do things properly, eg forged pistons, MLS head gasket, proper oil cooler etc. Typically, these sorts of bare engines are in the $4-$6k for street cars and $6-10K for outright race cars. Turbos, pipes, ignition system etc are on top of this. If you dont have that sort of budget stick with a stock engine and put up with its limitations. As soon as you up the boost on a stock engine, you lower the reliability and life. You simply cant have it both ways.
