Don't think there'd be any stomping going on either way.

can't remember what bit of road that was at but was it going up a hill? My car isn't a killer machine atm due to lack of boost and lack of complete tune but it pulls quite well for 7psi. Think it'd be able to keep pace with a stock turbo car running twice that boost easily enough.

After all the issues I'd encountered I didn't want to lay on the car too hard on the weekend. Probably end up going back home on a flatbed, haha.

Yes I think it was up a slight hill but you definately came roaring up my ass (in a non gay way). I think that was just before the section with mass potholes when we were caught behind a slow ass camry, just before that epic single lane ripper section.

Went out for a drive tonight and managed to break... well, nothing amazingly.

Did a few quick pulls with the logger running and found the air temps were cooler on boost then off boost (obviously due to heat soaking into the pipes when there wasn't a great deal of air flowing in them.

Ambient was around 13.5 degrees and max IAT I read under boost was around 19.6 degreesm which doesn't seem too shabby to me. Admittedly this is only on spring pressure on the wastegate (7psi) so its not really working the system too hard.

5155 152.4 19.6
5162 150.6 19.4
5220 152.4 19.4
5185 154.1 19.4
5259 151.9 19.4
5263 155 19.4
5276 153.7 19.4
5317 152.4 19.6
5299 156.3 19.4
5306 155 19.4
5306 155 19.4

Bit of a snapshot, first column being RPM, second column being load (in KPA, absolute, so ~101kpa is atmospheric pressure, 155 kpa is equivalent to ~7.7psi). Intake temps rose to around ~24 degrees when off the throttle. Hopefully these fans I got coming help to extract some of that heat and keep bay temps down a little more.

Anyway, can't wait to get it tuned and make some real power. Pulls relatively hard as is, you know what its like, always want more!

I have such respect for u guys doing such hardcore stuff to your engines and the amount of effort you're putting in.
In a whooolle different universe to us N/A drivers hehe i'm like "Air filter this, oil filter that" and you guys are like PEW PEW LASER COMPUTER PERFORMANCE STATS - love it!

I do feel sorry for your girlfriends who go without nice presents, those pretty pairs of shoes are now silicon piping

Totenkopf that performance is just going to be mind blowing, please take photos of the tyre marks on the tarmac that are made of fire

Got a few hours on the dyno tonight. Not everything was perfect, there were a few issues which I'll get to tomorrow because, well, im bloody tired. HUGE thumbs up to Peter at ProTorque Performance tuning for his persistence and sitting around. He cancelled another session he had on to get this car sorted. Bit thumbs up, I owe him big time.

Heres the dynos numbers, I'll write a big speil tomorrow afternoon after work, right now, I got to go to bed, im going to get about 4 hours sleep :(

Images speak for themself. First picture is hp and tractive effort (what the dyno reads) and the second graph is the 'estimated' torque that the dyno dynamics dyno throws out.

Im going to bed, enjoy.

Boost at 3100 rpm fully on song at 4300 rpm seems good for GT35R?

Congrats mate! Awesome work. You've been at it persistently for so long, it's great to see your hard work finally pay off. That's the kind of results I was expecting for you & you hit the nail right on the head. Good stuff

Turbo's spooling identically to mine, on song by 4800rpm. How'd the W2A hold up? Intake temps got to? Looks like it did well. Did you play around with the cam timing? Looks like it has a bit left, seeing as though you're not even peaking at 8000rpm.
