Luan, I was in the car when it was corner weighted, he didn't ask me freak all really. I got it corner weighted so I could have the coilovers adjusted as required, they were all over the shop (height wise) when I took it in there. They are no better now. I needed an alignment anyway as I've just got the car back together from basically a ground up build, all new bushings, new engine, so all the crossmembers and suspension has been out.

I told him I didn't know how it handled as of yet, as I've only just got it running and have been sorting out the bugs and that I wanted the coilovers setup properly and an alignment done.

I told him when I got there that the tyres were scrubbing and I needed to get it sorted out cause the heights were all skewiff.

Im bloody fuming at this stage.

Cheers,

James.

best thing to do now is....

DO it yourself.

Get the measurement he gave u. Then base ur camber of that.
The get your caster adjusted till it stops rubbing on full lock.

All u needed was a baseline. Then go to an alignment place and get ur caster and toe fix square off.

thats your cheapest and best option for now unless you want to spend heaps again getting it done right.

Cheers mate, you forgot to show the picture when it was leaving huge pools of coolant and spewing coolant all over me. I really should have taken a picture of the radiator 3/4 fallen out before I welded it back up. Guess its something I'd prefer to forget though :D

Not yet unfortunately :D Every time I drive it I find another gremlin. Hopefully it'll get to the point where I can do a good days drive in it and not have to worry about something else coming loose or undone :D On the cruise I had a fitting that just wouldn't stay done up so I was leaking coolant which resulted in an overheating moment (and a burnt hand when I decided I'll open the cap to add some more water so I could continue).

I got the leak sorted before it overheated but obviously when we parked up for a bit the water was already low enough that without the engine pumping coolant around it allowed the coolant in the block/head to boil. I didn't get 10 seconds down the road before I noticed the first overheating symptom (ecu not allowing the car to rev past 3000rpm) and then cut the engine and pulled over as soon as possible.

Appears no damage was done though, the car, engine wise, ran fine the remainder of the day. I had issues with the radiator support pretty much falling out (and thus the radiator and heat exchanger) and a relay in the boot that powers the ecu and fuel pump coming undone a couple of times resulting in loss of power... and everything else :D Welded the radiator support back in yesterday to discover that because its sitting in the correct position now my w2a heat exchanger fitting is fouling on the front bumper, when it used to just fit in. I've got the bumper off again now and the heat exchanger out to take it down a mates and modify the fitting location.

Big projects always have their hiccups. A mate of mine recently bombed 40k into a '68 Mustang and everyweek it seemed something or other would pop up. They say the last 10% takes 90% of the time/effort.

@ James.
Still keen to do some filming too, that is, if we ever get a free weekend that coincides.

Yea your lucky you had some issues with your car on saturday...otherwise we would have raced and i would have STOMPED you LOL. In my dreams...one of those straights i was nailing it in 3rd gear and you came out of nowhere and just sat on my ass for a bit before you must've realised just how slow I was actually going haha. Any info on that AFM by any chance??
