NOVEMBER CLUB RUN
Everyone talks about wanting a chance to competitively slide, so.............
Normally Slidewize only operates on Saturdays, so this would have always excluded quite a few of the Club members who have to work.
However, a Slidewize weekend for the 2nd and 3rd of November is now planned, and after negotiations with the organisers we have an opportunity to participate in the Sunday only activities.
Place numbers are very, very limited and usually the maximum doesn't exceed 15 cars. There are some spots already taken for the whole weekend but the organisers have agreed that our Club can have the remainder for the Sunday, PROVIDED that numbers and payment are confirmed QUICKLY.
Basic details are the day costs $130.00, goes from 8.00am to 3.30pm, the venue near Caboolture is professionally run, lunch and all day soft drinks are included, there is expert tuition in slow speed skid pan work, some time and other types of shootouts are run, there is plenty of shade, this is not high speed racing but low speed control, and everyone raves about the experience.
I will place a much more detailed explanation of the Slidewize activity on the Forum in the next few days but if you do want to attend this mostly MR2 Slidewize activity then place your name below. Just remember that putting your name on the list is a commitment to pay!

I am currntly replacing turbo and injectors and getting it tuned I really hope it will be ready hoping for 270rwhp.

Thanks to everyone who has nominated so quickly and paid their money. With some others who are not on this list but have nominated directly there are now only a few spots left so first in, best dressed.
Don't forget, two people can come in the same car for the $130.00 and enjoy all the activities. If you just want to spectate and not slide, either as driver or co-driver, then its $10.00.

Do we need to pre pay if we wish to spectate/ go passenger?

Short answer is NO. The $130 covers driver and co-pilot. If people just want to spectate, arrive in a car that isn't part of the action and not have a go then it's $10.00. The big deal with Slidewize is that it is well sponsored by a number of commercial companies so the costs are kept low. Where else would you get a whole day, lunch, drinks and tuition for $130.00 for a car entry?

If only I hadn't made the decision to take the AW off the road and do the much needed TLC literally the day before this was posted up.  Sorry guys, my bad timing.
