Eric, tell them I'd be happy to do the assessment at Marburg for them.  I have a few good quals, including a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, so it could help. Maybe we could convince them you were proficient in "Advanced MR2ology" now you own two?

Getting the right pieces of paper is so important these days so don't sweat not being able to come if you can't make it. There will be plenty of other opportunities, plus we are all dying to see how you will drive both cars at the same time.

If you can make it then PM me. Final details are below.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING TO MARBURG INDEPENDENTLY

If you cannot make the meeting place at the BP Service Station, Black Soil, Warrego Highway, by 8.45am tomorrow then you should continue on the Warrego highway towards Marburg.

The first Marburg exit from the highway will be blocked, so we will be taking the second exit, which then takes us down to a T-junction.

At the T-junction we take a left turn on to Queen Street, go through the Marburg township, and continue on to the Showground where the parade is assembling.

Although today (Friday) is a bit warm the forecast for tomorrow is for much milder temperatures, but don't forget to bring hats and sunscreen.

See you either at the meeting point at 8.30am , or the Showground.

Full report with photos to come (I know everyone just can't wait to hear what happened).
Short version - and despite allegations of bribery and vote rigging - my ADub won the best post 1980 car category, so the MR2's still rule. The Buick 1956 Roadmaster won Best of Show, as of course it should have.
