Hi guys,
I've got a 1990 mr2 turbo, the other day I drove to the shops 10 mins up the road no problem, drove back home and after I turned the car off and started walking inside I looked back and notist the tail lights stayed on.
I went back and made sure I didn't have the lights on, all other lights worked as normal but the tails stay on and even putting my foot on the brake does nothing they don't get brighter.
Where do I begin guys? I'm hoping I can fix it before the kangaroo valley run this weekend.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.

There is a brake light switch at the top of the pedal that will be sticking on

That black rubber that pushes against the switch was completely worn out
