Changing the engine shop isn't an option. I'm not paying for another shop to this work when it is now free. one bucket s loose in the head and needs to be sleeved. It rocks forward and back when the cam hits it. All the shims are at the right clearance.

I didn't get it on a dyno. But im guessing from feel that it had more torque down low and a real nice pull to 5000rpm. That's As high as I went on the fresh engine. Stock gen2 feels so gutless in comparison.

Im not sure if I like the clear indicators. Kind of like amber. The quaiffe is great.

just waiting for the coilovers to arrive now. My rear suspension is badly worn and moves about. I bought the BC br gold series to replace the stock shockies with lovell springs.

the cars ride height is different on the rear right compared to the rear left.

There's a no-through road down there. It's a bit of a bbq area. Nice place to park some MR2s. ;) It is fairly busy at times, but late nights as you can see its empty.

Still stock engine as runabout. Fixed all the rattles in exhaust. Currently enjoying the engine note through the super ram air box.

On the performance engine. Im very close to asking for my money back. The engine is full stripped for the 3Rd time now and he is just not doing any work on it at all.

Im just happy I went out and got this other gen2 motor, it's really healthy. No leaks what so ever. No oil burnt.

on a side note, the BC coilovers are fantastic.
