Thanks for having my back on the MAF/AFM thing... didn't mean to be confusing so sorry about that :P

Inside the cylinder itself is fine, it's just in the spark plug wells that have oil. The actual plastic tubes that go inside the well are a bit wet on the first and second cylinder but completely dry in 3 & 4. I'm not convinced 100% that it's the problem but I've given it a clean and used a bit of contact cleaner to clean it out and have the valve cover gasket kit here, so I'll update once I've installed that.

Oil is a bit dark honestly but is getting close to needing replacing anyway (Done about 4500km), I've seen much worse on engines that are working 100% fine.

Oh its just oil in the plug tubes, yeah that wont be your problem then. What color where the tips of your spark plugs? Were they all the same color when next to each other. Take them out and send a pic of them. How many km's have you done on your sparks plugs and rest of ignition system? First thing I did when I got my MR2 was to change plugs, leads, rotor button, rotor cap, then later I ended up having to change ignitor module and coil. Having a strong ignition in a MR2 turbo solves a lot of issues. If you change leads get magnacore, they are the best! When my ignitor module was on the way out I had big problems with over fueling, took me ages to work out what was wrong but once I swapped it, it was perfect.
