Not sure, it might be a bit far away for me, ironically due to reliability issues, she is virtually falling apart at the seams. Just biding time until I have a garage (November) then its off the road for 3-6 months for an overhaul.

I could use the hoist time for triage purposes, but it depends if I can address an electrical issue before Sunday.

I dont think I will be making this, have to work till midday and the car is losing brake fluid somewhere...

I've been told I need to do a cylinder pressure test rather than compression - force compressed air into a cylinder at the top of a compression stroke and check to see if it is escaping into the oil or water?  Anyway I don't have a compressor or a compression gauge so either test will be helpful.

In other words a "Leak Down" test. I'm guessing you're suspecting a head gasket issue ?
