I will be happy provided mobs of people in HSV's and XR6 turbos aren't driving recklessly and using the straights are dedicated drag strips (ie, powercruise/etc).  I'll put my name down tentatively, not looked into what I am doing at work or if it coincides with Morgan Park super sprints etc.  Speaking of which, don't know why more mr2 blokes don't enter that, saw 1 mr2 out there in my series but that was it.

Aaron, did you used to know Luke Godbee or have anything to do with his dyno shop? (I knew he used to run stuff in conjunction with slidewize at times.)

Another question, does QR accept Cams license or you need dedicated QR license to participate?

Luke went to school with a mate of mine, so I know him through association. I have been to one of his Dyno Days held in conjunction with Slidewize. IIRC, QR does accept CAMS, but I suggest you give them a call if you have any concerns. Otherwize, $20 on the day and a single form.

For practice days you need the AASA/QR licence - either the 1 day flavour or stump up the extra for the annual one.

For anyone that wants to go over on their car leading up to this event, I'm hoping to have my hoist installed in my shed in the next few weeks. I will make it available to any one interested in making the trip out. I've a collection of tools and equipment and if you have an AW11, I might even have spare/upgraded parts available.

Don't forget to get your insurance waivers before you go on the track. If you haven't done so previously most insurance companies will grant one-off special activity certifications for one day, as those who went to Slidewize last year will remember. All the more important if the car is a daily driver and you are mixing it up with no real restrictions on laps.

I'll be in as a maybe, pending getting off work.

I'm in and paid for a Lakeside sprint day next Sunday 4th may (unfortunately clashes with the David Hack classic toowoomba)
