If you're going to use your phone make sure you get a flat edge to chock up against the edges of your rims. Make sure you calibrate the software first.

Car also has to be perfectly level. You can do this with vinyl floor tiles, a bucket of water, pvc tubing and a length of wood.

Here's how you do it

When I was in Sydney a mate and I spent the weekend doing the alignments on our cars, following the directions of those videos. My friend had his checked by a tyre shop and we were within 5% of where we wanted to be.

EssDub - no hassels, just gotta be careful in the wet lol

Mrskylighter - how cheap is cheap? :P

MRVirgin - that looks like the best solution, if only I could justify the costs :(

I downloaded an Andriod app called 'Camber gauge' and will take a baseline tonight. Seems to jump around a fair bit though so I couldn't really bank on it.

Basically I'll be ordering a Whiteline front swaybar this week, so I'm aiming to introduce more negative camber to counteract the negative (understeer) effects of a stiffer swaybar.

but then I've read this which kinda contradicts the above:
"Unlike double wishbone type suspension, the MacPherson strut has an unfavorable camber curve, in that the camber does not increase linearly as the suspension is compressed. So as the car takes a corner and sets, the outside suspension is going to compress past the roll center and will go from a favorable increase in negative camber to start to lose the negative camber. When that happens the front end will lose grip rapidly. One of the solutions to alleviate this problem, is to deploy thicker front anti-roll bars to prevent the outside suspension component from compressing PAST the roll center and start to lose camber."

Use a spirit level and some trig. Once you work out the maths takes no time, and very accurate :p

+1
Very easy to do using a 600mm level and vernier calipers.
Great for trying different settings.
