Try giving it a bit of a push when you go from your radio to another source. I believe the gear that pulls it back down strips off. Mine has anyway and will go up fine if the radio is on but when it goes down it just winds but doesn't go down. I don't listen to the radio at all so I have to quickly skip past it as the aerial starts going up but will come down before it hits a certain point.

It went up and down just fine until I snapped it off. When I switched the car off completely it'd happily motor down. It was the headunit that came fitted from the previous owner, that wouldn't send it down when I turned it off.

I'm thinking about just leaving it as is, removing the assembly when I respray and filling the hole in. I bought an iPod for a reason :D

Did a hillclimb a few weeks back. Had some nice photos taken so I thought I'd post them up.

Haven't done much to the car over the last few months. The cost of living in Sydney is taking a toll. I have managed:

New ball joints, tie rod ends and rotors
Whiteline sway bar & Delta V plates
QFM A1RM pads

Really enjoyed the Huntley Hillclimb. Did a best run of 31.16 for the day. Do really need more power for that kind of incline however.

Nice work. Great to a MR2 hitting a few hill climbs

The standard diff isn't going to last very long with launches like that lol! might be worth investing in a quaife unit!

Got new wheels. Can't roll around on them yet, need new lugnuts for that. Also the 225/45 on the front are pretty obviously too large. With luck I'll be able to get those and some BC coilovers with my next pay check.

Gave one of them a good sand and polish. A bit over an hours work.
