Thanks! Next mission, lowering it!

I don't want it slammed but keen to reduced some of the wheel gap, still want to retain it's nice cornering :)

Slamming these things too low will introduce bump steer very quickly, so unless you're willing to get RCA's (they usually come in 20mm but you need two per side apparently for them to work properly) and not worry about any legalities, I'd advise to just find a decent set of lowering springs like Eibachs.

With that sorted then go on a hunt for better wheels to fill out the guards, usually around 15x7.5 +27 is the sweet spot, any more and you need to roll guards.

The beauty of the adub is in its function as well as form, so once you step over that line for form over function, you ruin the essence of the car.

That said though, loving where you are taking the car, and love hearing about more dark blue adubs around.

*sorry for thread hijack*
Martin170: In particular I'd love to hear about your blue auto supercharged adub, since that's exactly what I have and I know of a handful of them around, but in WA yours is news to me (I know of two other auto's in WA but were since converted to manual, only one was blue). There are three blue auto SC's here on the east coast including mine. Knightrous owns one too.

The supercharged ones were NOT fitted from factory with ADR compliance, they need an engineer to sign off on them, which usually happened on import and means fitting a fuel restrictor, side intrusion bars (though not all imports get fitted like mine), swapping the front orange indicators for clear/orange ones, and the usual roadworthy procedures.

If it has a compliance plate, it'll be in the frunk usually on the suspension tower. Each state has different laws though so your mileage may vary.

Nice car, shame you have to sell. I think we both purchased aw11's from John about the same time.

Might be a long shot, but what's the deal with the weather shields? They were oem? They'd fix my leaking window problem, but I guess they wouldn't fit on a targa version?

Hey guys, due to a change in living circumstances I had to sell my MR2 last year. I still have the Recaro’s from it however and won’t suit my new daily so I’m looking to sell them. I have no idea what they are worth and cannot find any for sale to go off, does anyone know? They have no rails, in good condition except one has a rip in the bolster. Myself and the seats are now located in QLD.

I would pay $700-800 if the condition is as you say.
You could also part it out. The fishnet head rests are highly sought after and could go for at least $400 for the pair.
