yeah i used clised and it sucks. the open would have been better.

The closed one is ment to be better for higher speeds.

I've only used the open one but only had it inside the car

which is why i used it but it was crap.

@kameleon the gopro sound is bad no matter which backing plate you use though i think the open one may be better in the wind. I used the closed one this time.

The open one seems to be fine until you get up over 100kph. The closed one seems to have wind noise all of the time. I used the open back one when I had my MR2 at Eastern Creek South last year.

Nice driving Tree and Admin. We need to have all this footage and photos available to make a video. Can a site be organised to download all these or simply send on a memory stick via mail?

Was A great couple of days and had a ball. Was really happy with the car on its virgin outing and pulled off some good times. Ended up 2nd in Circuit class.
My car came in lightest, has minimal stripping out and has a roll cage, passenger seat and the trailer spare at the time?
Need to tighten up a few things with the car and myself but was a great learning experience and Very keen for the next one.
A very big thanks to Wiso who helped over a very long day on the sunday to get the car ready for the event and of course to Steve who organised and ran it.
