Updated the list today.
So far 25 interested parties from the East Coast. Excellent support people. Really looking forward to putting a highly entertaining competitive few days at Wakefield Park.If people from Tassie, West or North are interested in coming along, please PM so we can help out where possible. There is also a very strong chance a certain V6 MR2 from Vic will be heading up on a trailer to compete. Just waiting for confirmation
What I can tell you is, the price for competitors (for the first 40) will include Entry for 5 separate disciplines over two days, passenger rides for friends , accommodation, allocated garage on pit lane for two days, t shirt and more.
We have accomodation for up to 60 people at the track with BBQ's on the balcony of the units over looking the track.
There will be photo shoots for all cars anywhere about the track after the days track events. We would like to have a group shot with all cars in grid formation.
If we have over 20 cars, we will have one or two of the car magazines come along to do a photo shoot over the two days. At this stage it looks like they will be there based on current response.
There will be invites to a member from various car clubs to participate in the event. The WTAC Gorilla Industries Supra has already put his hand up to compete in the Invitational Class.
Anthony Soole who runs a SC Lotus and a Celica ZZ in Production Sports and Production car series, has also put his hand up if provided a invitation.
One car I would like to see is the Lexus LFA. We are also working on a few other invites so expect to see a quick Honda or Two, a Mazda (a Nurburgring 24hr RX7 plus a MX5). A 550hp Bathurst 12hr RX7 can also be organised if possible and a WRC rally car is also a possibility. Members of the Subaru club, EVO club, Circuit Club and Toymods are also on the list.
