dennis the menace
I'm a bit concerned about the "if you get lucky" comment.

Does that mean those who remain celibate avoid the kitchen?

Or did I misunderstand?

Folks, was talking to Barry at Camzilla re: video ideas for the event (more on that later) and he has made an offer for entrants...
All entrants at the MR2 Ultimate Trackday Challenge at Wakefield Park are eligible for this special deal from Camzilla Action Cameras and Mounts. Might be a good opportunity to pick up that rollcage mount or GoPro accessory before the event...

1) Anyone spending more than $100 receives a free Sony USB Portable Power Supply for phones and cameras (RRP $40). Check it out here: www.sony.com.au/product/cp-els
2) Plus, all items purchased receive a 5% discount off our listed online prices.

To use this offer online, just visit www.camzilla.com.au and select your items. Complete the shopping cart process, then enter the code (supplied to entrants) on the final confirmation page. Hit the Apply button and your order will receive the 5% discount. The Sony USB will be added to your order if the value is over $100.

Alternatively, just visit our Lindfield showroom and get the same deal in-store. This offer expires at midnight 15 January 2013.

I sold my Drift HD170 recently to fund the car after I discovered my universal camera mount (eBay, massive suction cup) can be adjusted longitudinal and laterally so I can basically use any camera with 1/4 standard thread, mounted at the back window. Although it might not be as rugged or 60fps or good sounding, it does the job lol. Saying that I do like the Go Pro and you can't beat it's stock audio capability of wind noise/vibration reduction which is serious to me!
My specialty is both hunting and cooking . See attach pic for an example I made tonight (Beef Bourguignon, can modify to rabbit Bourguignon)
I've gone way off topic...

Im all seriousness, we do need a cook for the Monday night. My girl will be at work so will need to fend for ourselves..
I was looking at a bbq but if people are interested in a mini masterchef 'cook off', I happy to let you guys 'go for it'.

Thanks Alex for chasing up the video options. Its great to have people come on board.
Sweetpete is madly preparing his MRS for the trackday. It will have a fullcage, all the go fast bolt ons plus a 2zz mounted in the back. Hope it comes together for him. If not, I expect he wil have his trusty AW11 out there.
As the numbers are too low for me, Im in discussions with NSW Hillclimb Championship. I will offer 10 spots for there members to come and join us with one being a SW20 which competes in the champoinship on a regular basis. This is a great opportunity for the people going to the MTC to chat with the NSW chapter for hillclimbs about getting involved in their series and for the interstate guys to touch base with fellow hillclimb/superspint drivers from NSW.

We have two people volunteering, Stuka and Widemr. Thankyou for helping out guys. It really will make the difference over the two days.

Assuming all the food is bought on Sunday night and since I'll be coming interstate I won't be there for the shopping. So BBQ or whatever I'll def lend a hand.

Thankyou for everyone putting their hand up. They want us to have the BBQ at the cabins but I will do my best to have it organised in the garages then walk back to the cabins after the bbq and photo session. I will organise the meat with a local butcher which can be picked up on the Monday at some stage or the Sunday night. Will also organise the bread through the local baker for pick up on the Sunday night. Salad will be the same deal supporting the locals. If people want more than just a bbq, Im open to options.

Make sure everyone has a few fuel containers as the service station is 15mins from the track and you will need more full by the days end.
I have been talking with Ric Shaw this week. He may be there on the Tuesday to test his Bathurst 12hr/Nurburgring 24hr car along with providing handing assesments and tunes to people interested in the service. He did win the Production Sports Championship in the MR2, so has a fair understanding of the car.
Im also chasing up some other invited cars with the help of another MTC entrant. Will have more info soon.
