Well it is that time of the year again......we are nearning the first round of the VHC.

Many of you have had a taste of Haunted Hills now is your chance to enter a real competition, as the first round is at Haunted Hills.

This year the Championship has 8 rounds at 6 different locations !!!

Round 1 : 29th January - Haunted Hills ( Saturday TWILIGHT meeting )
Round 2 : 27th February - Rob Roy
Round 3 : 3rd April - Mt Leura
Round 4 : 1st May - Phillip Island
Round 5 : 5th June - Ararat
Round 6 : 3rd July - DECA
Round 7 : 28th August - Haunted Hills
Round 8 : 18th September - Rob Roy

At this early stage there will be 2 MR2's competing during the Championship...so either ENTER yourself !!!....or come along and support the MR2 drivers out there.

I'll be entering the usual ones over ballarat side of melb, Mt Leura, Ararat.

Always are fun weekends.

Great, it will be nice to have another 2 along for those events !

Best of luck with the Hillclimbs I will hopefully get the time to at least spectate Ararat this year.

Round 1 completed !!

What a great day for hillclimbing, with a few new lap records and close competition, all had a great time ( except those that hit an immovable object). There were 101 entries. The long conventional (clockwise) track was used.

The new series sponsor CSA Alloy Wheels were very happy with there involvement in the Championship and are looking forward to the rest of the season.

The MR2 Team presented 2 cars both having a great day.

Wayne Hunter SW20 Turbo (Gen3) '61.60' 4th in Class & 45th outright.

Wayne Walker AW11 N/A (16v) '60.62' 1st in Class & 34th outright.


Entries are open for round 2 at Rob Roy on 27th February

Had my first Hillclimb of the year at Mt Leura, was an awesome weekend. Had a turnout of 4 mr2's which was great to see.

I managed to beat my pb time from last year with 41.25
