Name: Graham
Location: Northern Beaches
Age: let's just say "mature" shall we
I drive: White 1993 SW20 ADM ABW02N
Plans: Car is almost entirely original and I intend to mostly keep it that way mechanically. Interior needs tidying. Maybe an AW11 as a weekend / track car in the medium term future?
About me: Recently returned to a proper car now the brood can drive themselves and we no longer need a family wagon. Owned an 1987 AW11 from new in the UK before I emigrated, so an SW20 was an obvious choice - too many hairdressers in MX-5s!

I don't know why, where and when the 'hairdresser' tag was linked to MX5 owners. I drive one and have never been a hairdresser and I don't know of any hairdressers among the MX5 club members I have met. And, no, I am not gay and I don't know of any fellow club members who are!

Perhaps someone can enlighten me?? [x2x][x2x]

AHAH! I just figured this riddle out. The correct answer is: you are a woman.

Kidding ofcourse, I'd happily have an MX5

There are at least 4 in NSW to my knowledge (incl. me) who have recently joined and 3 of them still drive MR2's.
There could be more though.

Hi Wiz, does that mean the club now has been disolved or currently in limbo?

I was looking forward to the then post-poned driver training day. There hasnt' been any news to late, and no response for Club President Andrew Best

Can you enlighten some of us who may still be interested in club events?

Thanks in advance

Oh sh*t---I did not really want to go there but yes, the club is currently in limbo.
I am quite disappointed about the whole situation actually as I have tried to get something going to no avail. It is now up to the current committee or what is left of them to get together to see if the club is going to ontinue in its present form.

The many members who have become friends through the club over the years will hopefully still keep in touch with 'unofficial' get togethers and runs and we had one such event at Lake Macquarie on 5th December last with quite a few members and ex members in attendance.
