Oh what I'd give to understand what you're doing (think I have the slightest clue). Even though 'power isn't everything, etc.' I'm really keen to see how well the AW11 takes the new engine. I'm sure it'll be quite the pocket rocket

Jerome, my thoughts were to fit the airbox where the battery is so I think inlet should face towards side vent then and pipework should be facing the right way too?

I haven't finished putting it together yet, but I have the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) mounted  beside the fuel filter in the fire wall. The outlet of the fuel filter goes to a T-piece, one side of the T goes to the motor and the other goes to the fuel pressure regulator (FPR). The FPR then connects to the return line in the AW11 with a vacuum hose trailing back to the intake. I can draw up a diagram if needed.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been spending family time during the holidays.
Belt pulley finally arrived and installed!

The pulley required a bolt which was about an inch longer than the power steering one.

New serpentine belt installed. The stock 2ZZ one was too long whilst a stock 1zz one was too short... After trying 3 different belts (6PK1810 & 6PK1715) a 6PK1770 was found to be a perfect fit.

Ready to drop straight in!
 
All I need now is some axles and a fuel pressure regulator and I should be pretty well set!

Thanks! I understand how that setup works. Do you have any recommendations for a fuel pressure regulator? Which brand do you use? Also, did you buy your fittings from a shop or order them online?

Hi Everyone, it's been quite a while since I have updated this thread, but the swap was successful! 
Continuing on from earlier...
The 4AGE just before removal, nothing fancy

Unfortuneately I didn't take photos for most of the removal process, but, here's the engine and transmission coming out the bottom of the car!

Second time removing the engine from a car, didn't take as long as removing the engine and transmission from the Celica!
Speed sensor from the C52 dropped straight in.

The C60 shares the same bolt pattern and mounting points as the c52, so all 3 mounts were a direct bolt on swap.

Pictured here is the passenger side mount

The C52's shifter forks were also transferred onto the C60, so the C52's shifter cable bracket could be used without much modification. Another alteration which was made to the C60 was flipping the selector shaft components upside down, which was a fairly simple job. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of this process, but hopefully I can explain it with the image below. (Ignore the labels)

The two components with the black studs in them were essentially flipped so they faced up. This is so the shift pattern isn't upside down.

Decided to unbolt the transmission from the engine to check the clutch.
Took the clutch off to discover that it was on it way out, I believe the is the OEM clutch since new.

Replaced it with an ACT Clutch, which isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. Slightly heavier than the clutch that was in the 4AGE.

Managed to track down a set of SW20 axles, all the way down in Melbourne! 

Tested them before hand and they fit perfectly!

Sadly I didn't have anyone to take photos whilst I was putting the 2ZZ in, but I can take more detailed photos of the water lines, mounts etc if anyone would like to see!

It looks like it was meant to be there! The headers I used was made for 2ZZ Spyder swaps, here they are in better detail below:

They are a 4-2 style made to bolt up to an MR2 Spyder B-Pipe

This was my first time wiring a car... It was nowhere near as hard as I thought it would be! I retained the Celica's Engine fuse box and merged it into the AW11's body harness, most of the wires joined were on the N1 plug plug which is found in the boot. If anyone decides to do this conversion I am more than happy to help throughout the process!

Here's the big moment, the first start video! (With the key, first start was me hotwiring the car as I wasn't sure which wire was the starting wire, turned out it was a wire in the Celica fusebox )

This is the first ever successfully completed 2ZZ into an AW11 to my knowledge!  Thanks to everyone from support from the forums and everyone else involved. Special thanks from Mark (flying_wedge) from MR2 OC NZ who gave me some very helpful information and diagrams! For those of you who don't know, Mark also has a 2ZZ AW11 in New Zealand.
